Petition to Approve Compromise of Pending Action

Having considered moving papers, the Court rules as follows. No opposing papers have been filed.

BACKGROUND

On February 1, 2018, Plaintiffs Odilia Mateo and Natalie Mateo filed a complaint against Defendant Miguel Gonzalez Resendiz. The plaintiffs allege motor vehicle negligence, negligence perse, and negligent entrustment, hiring, undertaking, retention, supervision, and training arising from a pedestrian-automobile collision that occurred on February 9, 2016.

On October 7, 2020 and October 22, 2020, Petitioner Odilia Mateo filed petitioning papers to approve a compromise of pending action on behalf of Claimant Nathaly Mateo.
