BACKGROUND
Plaintiffs Silvestre Verdin and Graciela Verdin (“Plaintiffs”) filed a complaint on February 9, 2018, alleging a cause of action for motor vehicle negligence. (Compl. at p.4.) On March 14, 2018, Defendant The Salvation Army filed a CCP § 430.41(a)(2) declaration with the court creating an automatic 30-day extension to file the instant demurrer. On April 13, 2018, Defendants The Salvation Army, and Dennis Patrick Jones (“Defendants”) filed the instant demurrer to the complaint and a motion to strike the “loss of consortium” damage claim. No other papers were filed for the instant demurrer and motion.
