[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL; MOTION GRANTED

Callahan & Blaine, APLC, attorneys of record for Plaintiff, seek to be relieved on grounds Plaintiff seeks a position in litigation that will result in violation of the professional rules of conduct and ABA model rules. Absent a showing of resulting prejudice, an attorney’s request for withdrawal should be granted. (People v. Prince (1968) 268 Cal.App.2d 398, 406.) The Court notes trial is currently set for June 13, 2019, and no prejudice will result to Plaintiff in granting this Motion. Counsel’s Motion complies with California Rules of Court, Rule 3.1362. However, counsel is ordered to bring a proposed order (MC-053) to the hearing. Subject to bringing a proposed order to the hearing, this unopposed Motion is GRANTED, effective only after counsel files a proof of service showing service of this Order on Plaintiff and Defendants.
