MOTION FOR ATTORNEY FEES AND COSTS IS GRANTED, IN PART.

Background

On December 6, 2017, Plaintiff Jaime Sandoval filed the instant action against Defendants FCA US, LLC (“FCA”) and Does 1 through 10. On January 3, 2018, Plaintiff filed the First Amended Complaint, adding Cerritos Dodge, Inc. (“Dodge”) as a Defendant and asserting causes of action for:

Violation of Subdivision (d) of Civil Code section 1793.2 (against FCA);

Violation of Subdivision (b) of Civil Code section 1793.2 (against FCA);

Violation of Subdivision (a)(3) of Civil Code section 1793.2 (against FCA);

Breach of Express Written Warranty (Civ. Code § 1791.2, subd. (a); § 1794) (against FCA); and

Breach of the Implied Warranty of Merchantability (Civ. Code § 1791.1; § 1794).

On March 11, 2019, Plaintiff filed a Notice of Settlement. At the time the Notice of Settlement was filed, trial was set for April 8, 2019.
