STATEMENT OF MATERIAL FACTS AND/OR PROCEEDINGS
Plaintiffs each lived at apartment units owned by Defendant, and they also allegedly worked for Defendant, who allegedly sexually harassed and assaulted Plaintiff Paaren. When Plaintiff Jason refused to obey Defendant’s instructions to fire and remove Plaintiff Paaren for refusing Defendant’s advances, Defendant evicted both Plaintiffs from the premises.
Defendant/Cross-Complainant filed a cross-complaint alleging that Plaintiffs/Cross-Defendants misrepresented that they would reside at Cross-Complainant’s residence as roommates and offer services to assist him, but instead ate his food, removed tools from the residence, took money from his wallet and allowed uninvited guests over on a regular basis
