This is an action for breach of contract and interference with the contract. In 2007, Plaintiff David Hoffman (“Hoffman”) entered into a written agreement with Defendant Authentic Entertainment, Inc. (“AEI”) for his executive producer services on a TV program called The Best Thing I Ever Ate (“BTE”). (Plaintiff’s Response to Defendant’s Separate Statement of Undisputed Material Facts (“PUMF”) No. 1.) The show featured chefs and Food Network personalities being interviewed about their favorite dishes and the restaurants that served them. (PUMF No. 2.)
