Defendant City of Torrance’s Motion to Extend Stay and Defendant Bermudez’ Joinder in City of Torrance’s Motion to Extend the Stay of the Action are GRANTED. This action is stayed pending the resolution of Plaintiff’s writ of mandamus. The court sets a Status Conference Re: Writ of Mandamus on September 18, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. To conserve the resources of this court and the parties, the stay will be in place until lifted by this court to avoid the necessity of yet another motion to extend the stay.
