I. Background Facts

On April 26, 2018, plaintiff Vahe Hakimian (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against defendants City of El Monte, the County of Los Angeles, State of California, the Judicial Council of California and Does 1 to 100 alleging causes of action for negligence and premises liability. City of El Monte, the County of Los Angeles and the State of California were subsequently dismissed from the action. On July 2, 2018, Plaintiff filed a first amended complaint (“FAC”).
