Plaintiff Kimberly Carroll (“Carroll”) initiated the instant elder abuse action against Defendant Pacifica of the Valley Corporation (“Pacifica”) on April 14, 2017.

Pacifica now moves for an order bifurcating the issue of the amount of punitive damages from the liability phase of trial. Carroll opposes the motion insofar as Pacifica is seeking to bifurcate the legal issue of punitive damages from the liability phase at trial.
