Plaintiff Michael Shirazi (Plaintiff”) sued Defendants County of Los Angeles, Darryl K. Shibata, M.D., and Theodore Eckberg, M.D. (“Defendants”) for medical malpractice. Defendants move to continue trial the trial date, currently set for April 3, 2019, to July 17, 2019. Plaintiff has stipulated to this continuance. The motion is granted.
The parties request a brief trial continuance to permit them to complete discovery prior to the trial date, and to accommodate the availability of experts. This is good cause for a continuance. Defendants’ unopposed motion to continue the trial date is granted.
CONCLUSION AND ORDER
The Court sets the following dates:
Final Status Conference: July 6, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
Trial: July 17, 2019, at 8:30 a.m.
