[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: DEFENDANTS MOTIONS TO COMPEL PLAINTIFF’S DISCOVERY RESPONSES AND MONETARY SANCTIONS; MOTION GRANTED
On November 21, 2016, Plaintiff Harold Peters (“Plaintiff”) filed this action against Defendants Gabriel Aguilar Reyes and Rosa Romero (collectively, “Defendants”) for motor vehicle negligence relating to an April 7, 2016 automobile accident.
On April 1, 2017, Defendants served form interrogatories, special interrogatories, and demand for production of documents on Plaintiff. Plaintiff failed to serve responses or to request any extension on responses. (Declaration of Kurt Boyd, ¶¶ 6, 7.) Defendants move to compel Plaintiff’s discovery responses and seek monetary sanctions.
