Plaintiff Ng was traveling south on I-5 in a rented passenger van, with Ng driving. Plaintiff’s wife and children were in the rear seats. The van was first rear-ended by a BMW driven by Defendant Miles Bullock. The van then came to rest near the side of the highway.
