On September 19, 2016, Plaintiff Rolando Martinez (“Plaintiff”) filed this action against Defendants Slauson Food & Beverage Wholesalers, Inc. (“Moving Defendant”) and Christian Martinez for alleged injuries arising out of a September 19, 2014 assault and battery. Moving Defendant served Plaintiff with Requests for Production, Set One, and Special Interrogatories, Set One, on January 10, 2017; and Form Interrogatories, Set One, on February 13, 2017. Plaintiff has not responded to the discovery requests. On August 4, 2017, Defendant filed motions to compel Plaintiff’s responses to the outstanding discovery requests. Plaintiff has not opposed Defendant’s Motions.
