[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO COMPEL A NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF PLAINTIFF; MOTION GRANTED

This action arises out of a January 15, 2016 trip and fall incident. Plaintiff Mary Meeks Ritter (“Plaintiff”) alleges she tripped and fell on a raised portion of sidewalk at LAX Airport. Defendant Los Angeles World Airports (“Defendant”) moves for leave to conduct a neuropsychological examination of Plaintiff. Trial in this action was originally set for January 29, 2018. The parties stipulated to continue trial to May 24, 2018, and then again stipulated to continue trial to July 23, 2018. On July 3, 2018, Defendant moved ex parte to exclude evidence of Plaintiff’s psychiatric or neuropsychological injuries or to reopen discovery, including a second deposition of Plaintiff and to augment expert designations.
