Plaintiff filed a complaint against Defendants Los Angeles County and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department alleging causes of action for: (1) sex discrimination in violation of California Government Code, Section 12940(a); and (2) pregnancy leave discrimination in violation of California Government Code, Section 12945.
At trial, a verdict was returned in favor of Defendant. Thereafter, Defendant filed a memorandum of costs.
Plaintiff filed a motion to strike Defendant’s memorandum of costs claiming her complaint was not frivolous, unreasonable
