After having prevailed on its motion for summary judgment, Defendant Mid-Century Insurance Company (“MCIC”) filed a memorandum of costs on June 18, 2018, seeking $2,395 in costs. (Code Civ. Proc. § 1032.) Plaintiff now brings a Motion to Tax MCIC’s costs. Plaintiff argues that the costs sought are unsupported or non-recoverable.

First, Plaintiff argues that MCIC simply wrote that it incurred $1,856 in filing fees, but did not itemize such costs in its accompanying worksheet of memorandum of costs (“worksheet”).
