Having considered the moving, opposing, and reply papers, the Court rules as follows.
BACKGROUND
In BC616017, on April 5, 2016, Plaintiff Mohammad Shahin filed a complaint against Defendants Ahmad Hassan and FMG, Inc. dba Hadley Tow alleging assault and battery for an altercation.
In BC662836, on May 25, 2017, Plaintiff Mohammad Shahin filed a complaint against Defendants FMG, Inc. dba Hadley Tow, and Courtesy Transport & Towing Inc. alleging failure to pay overtime, failure to pay wages at time of termination, failure to allow meals and rest breaks, failure to provide accurate itemized wage statements, intentional infliction of emotional distress, wrongful termination, conversation, and failure to provide requested personnel records and pay roll records upon request. The case is pending in the Norwalk Courthouse.
In BC616017, on April 24, 2019, the Court found BC616017 to not be related to BC662836 because the latter alleges non-personal injury labor
