Background

Plaintiffs Djanet M. Stumreiter and John J. Stumreiter (“Plaintiffs”) allege that Defendant Glendale Adventist Medical Center (“Defendant”) negligently handled the care and treatment of Djanet Stumreiter in connection with her hospitalization, which began on October 10, 2014 and thereafter. The complaint, filed January 8, 2016, alleges causes of action for: (1) negligence; (2) elder abuse; and (3) loss of consortium.

Defendant demurs to each cause of action. Plaintiffs oppose.
