PHILLIP JONES, Plaintiff, vs. TIME WARNER CABLE, INC., et al., Defendants.
CASE NO: BC585117
[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO COMPEL FURTHER RESPONSES TO SPECIAL INTERROGATORIES, SET ONE
Dept. 98
10:00 a.m.
October 3, 2016
On August 1, 2016, Defendant Time Warner Cable Pacific West, LLC (“Defendant”) filed this Motion to Compel further responses to its Special Interrogatories, Set One. The Court notes that there is an Informal Discovery Conference (“IDC”) set for September 28, 2016. It is the Court’s preference that parties participate in an IDC before hearing Motions to Compel Further, as an IDC typically facilitates amicable resolution of discovery disputes, avoiding the time and costs incurred on such Motions. The September 28, 2016 hearing is therefore vacated. If the discovery issues are not resolved at the IDC, a new hearing date will be set for Defendant’s Motion.
