Background

Plaintiffs filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Defendants on April 22, 2015. The complaint alleges Defendants’ negligent driving caused an automobile accident with Plaintiffs’ vehicle, killing Paul D. Goldhammer. The Plaintiffs are the decedent’s wife, child, and estate.

Plaintiffs’ filed a first amended complaint on May 18, 2015 to correct a mistake in the parties’ names. Ten days later, Plaintiffs filed a second amended complaint without moving for leave and served it to Defendants.
