Tentative Ruling:
To grant, and quash the subpoenas issued by Defendant. (Code Civ. Proc. §1987.1(a).)
If the tentative ruling is not challenged, sanctions in the amount of $4,860 are granted in favor of Plaintiff. Defendant is ordered to pay the sanctions to the Akopyan Law Firm within 30 days of service of this order.
Should Defendant choose to have a hearing on the tentative and fail to prevail, the additional sanctions noticed and requested by Plaintiff for the actual time and expense incurred to attend the hearing shall be added to the above amount. Based on Plaintiff’s declaration, those amounts will not exceed 10 hours of attorney time @ $400/hour and $200 maximum of actual travel expense.
