Defendants Mathias Morgan Management Company, LLC, Ellison Morgan, and Jill Morgan (collectively, "Defendants") motion for a protective order is granted in part.

As an initial matter, the court declines to appoint a guardian, guardian ad litem, or conservator to litigate this matter on the Morgans' behalf. The court is not convinced, on the current record, that the Morgans lacks legal capacity to make decisions. See Cal. Code Civ. P. § 372(a); In re Jessica G. (2001) 93 Cal. App. 4th 1180, 1188 (at minimum, the court must make a sufficient inquiry to determine competency, i.e., whether the individual understands the nature of the proceedings and can assist his or her attorney in protecting his or her rights).
