1. Overview and Procedural Posture.
This is an employment discrimination/harassment/retaliation case arising from plaintiff Rebecca Lungin's employment as a "beauty advisor" at defendant Ulta Salon's (Ulta) Carlsbad and Oceanside stores between June, 2017 and about March, 2018. Plaintiff alleges she began experiencing discrimination, harassment, and retaliation after disclosing a pregnancy shortly after she was hired.
