Plaintiff's demurrer is overruled.

Preliminarily, the court finds Plaintiff's meet and confer efforts sufficient to satisfy the requirements of CCP § 430.41.

Plaintiffs' demurrer is overruled in its entirety for failure to comply with California Rules of Court, rule 3.1320(a) ["[e]ach ground of demurrer must be in a separate paragraph and must state whether it applies to the entire complaint, cross-complaint, or answer, or to specified causes of action or defenses." Under CCP § 430.60, "[a] demurrer shall distinctly specify the grounds upon which any of the objections to the complaint, cross-complaint, or answer are taken. Unless it does so, it may be disregarded." Plaintiffs' papers fail to include the required demurrer and fail to set forth in separate paragraphs the grounds for Plaintiffs' demurrer as to each of the affirmative defenses at issue.
