Good cause appearing and based on the stipulation of the parties, Defendant's motion to continue the trial is granted. The Court finds good cause for continuance based on the stipulation of the parties, the need for additional discovery, and the potential to resolve this matter through mediation. The November 8, 2017 MSC and December 18, 2017 trial dates are vacated. Trial is scheduled for April 23, 2018. The Court sets a Mandatory Settlement Conference for March 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Further, all statutory deadlines, including discovery and expert discovery, shall be governed by the new trial date. This case has been assigned to Department 47 for hearing. In the event that either party requests a hearing the matter will be heard at 9:30 a.m. in Department 47.
