Defendant D&T Global Communications, Inc., (“D&T Global”) filed a Substitution of Attorney on 01/08/2021 notifying the court that Defendant would be self-represented.
Defendant D&T Global is a corporation and, thus, cannot represent itself. (Gamet v. Blanchard (2001) 91 Cal.App.4th 1276, 1284 n.5.) This corporate defendant must obtain representation or risk forfeiting important rights through nonrepresentation. (Id.) Defendant D&T Global is ordered to obtain counsel by no later than 03/01/2021.
