Defendant Honarkar moves to compel further responses to RFP (Set Three) Nos. 62-64, which seek the production of communications between Plaintiff Starboard and its attorneys Sean Matsler, John Rocky Miller, and Mibbs Matthews from 01/2019 to 06/05/2019 relating to the property at issue, Newport Crossings.
A motion to compel further responses must set forth “specific facts showing good cause justifying the discovery sought by the demand.” (Code Civ. Proc., § 2031.310(b)(1); see also Glenfed Develop. Corp. v. Super. Ct. (1997) 53 Cal.App.4th 1113, 1117.) Arguments made in the moving papers or in a separate statement are insufficient to satisfy this requirement; good cause must be shown by way of admiss
