TENTATIVE RULING:
Defendants Debbie Makhoul, Estate of Katherine Johnson, and Estate of Robert Johnson’s Motion for Reconsideration
Defendants Debbie Makhoul, Estate of Katherine Johnson, and Estate of Robert Johnson move for reconsideration of this Court’s April 22, 2021, order denying the Defendants’ Motion for Protective Order (the “Motion”). For the following reasons, the Motion is DENIED.
Code of Civil Procedure “Section 1008 governs motions for reconsideration, by parties or the court itself.” (Morite of California v. Superior Court (1993) 19 Cal.App.4th 485, 490.) A motion for reconsideration made by a party must be based on new or different facts, circumstances, or law than those before the court at the time of the original ruling. (Code Civ. Proc., § 1008(a).)
