On 7/17/12, objector Helen Johnson of Olympia, Washington filed an ex parte application to be appointed temporary conservator of her stepmother's estate and person, without notice. The temporary conservatorship was granted until 9/4/12 when, partly as a result of the court investigator's recommendations, the court appointed professional fiduciary Angelique Friend as successor temporary conservator. The parties could not come to agreement on general conservatorship and the court set trial on appointment of a general conservator for 2/1/13. The temporary conservatee died on 1/9/13 while dancing. The successor temporary conservator now accounts and seeks discharge. Ms. Johnson objects in numerous particulars; including the continued mantra that this court never should have allowed Ms. Friend's temporary appointment.
