Plaintiffs Judson Abts (“Abts”) Alexxis Cardenas (“Cardenas”) (jointly, “Plaintiffs”) filed this action against Defendant Raymond Lee (“Lee”) on December 18, 2019. The operative First Amended Complaint (“FAC”) was filed on June 15, 2020 and asserts causes of action for (1) breach of lease, (2) breach of covenant of quiet enjoyment, (3) fraud – failure to disclose, (4) fraud – false promise, (5) negligent misrepresentation, (6) negligence, (7) violation of Los Angeles Rent Stabilization Ordinance, and (8) violation of Civil Code section 1940.2.
