OSC re Entry of Default Judgement

On November 4, 2020, the Court heard and DENIED without prejudice Plaintiff’s Request for Entry of Default Judgement. The Court continued the OSC re Entry of Default Judgement until December 30, 2020 to allow Plaintiff to rectify the errors in its default judgement package. The Court further stated that “If the Court has not entered default judgment by that date, the Court will DISMISS the case.” (11/4/20 Minute Order.)

The Court then continued the hearing from December 30, 2020 to January 8, 2021. (11/21/20 Minute Order.) The Court received no further communications or pleadings from Plaintiff. Therefore, the Court issued a tentative decision prior to the hearing to dismiss the case without prejudice.
