On August 5, 2019, Plaintiff Vivian Banh, in propria persona, commenced this action against Defendant Law Offices of Larry H. Parker for (1) unlawful recording of landline telephone calls per Penal Code sections 632, 637.2; and (2) unlawful recording of cellular telephone calls per Penal Code sections 632.7, 637.2. Plaintiff alleges that she contacted Defendant in connection with a possible personal injury action and Defendant recorded the calls between Plaintiff and Defendant. (Complaint, ¶ 12-14.)
On February 19, 2020, Defendant filed the instant unopposed motion to deem the requests for admission admitted and request for monetary sanctions in the amount of $2,500.00 against Plaintiff.
