Motion for Issuance of Commission to Take Out-of-State Deposition

Having considered the moving and non-opposing papers, the Court rules as follows. No reply papers were filed.

BACKGROUND

On July 30, 2019, Plaintiff Stormy Hebrew (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against Defendants Robert Farhat (“Defendant Farhat”) and PV Holding Corp. Plaintiff alleges negligence in the complaint arising from an automobile collision that occurred on November 7, 2017.

On January 16, 2020, Plaintiff file an amendment to the complaint renaming Doe 1 as Defendant Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

On June 25, 2020, Defendant Farhat filed a motion for issuance of commission to take an out-of-state deposition pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure section 2026.010, subdivision (f).

On June 26, 2020, the Court scheduled Defendant Farhat’s motion to be heard on November 2, 2020.
