[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE MOTION TO COMPEL FURTHER RESPONSES
Plaintiff Wilani Robles alleges that while he was a guest at a hotel, hotel security assaulted him. On December 18, 2019, Plaintiff served special interrogatories and requests for production on Defendant National Eagle Security, Inc. (“Defendant”). Defendant served responses on January 28, 2020, and later some supplemental responses. Plaintiff then filed this motion to compel further responses to the special interrogatories and requests for production.
As an initial matter, Plaintiff should have filed two motions and paid two filing fees – one motion to compel further responses to the special interrogatories and one motion to compel further responses to the requests for production. Plaintiff is to pay an additional filing fee and file proof of payment before the hearing.
