1. Background
Plaintiff, Alpin Patel filed this action against Defendants, Bryan Allan Payton, Wayne Bruce Dorman, Lyft, Inc., and Does 1-50 for damages arising from a four-vehicle accident. On 6/13/19, Plaintiff filed an Amendment to Complaint naming Doe 1 as Bimbo and Sons Corporation (“Bimbo”).
On 7/21/20, Defendant Wayne Bruce Dorman (“Dorman”) filed the instant motion for protective order directed at Plaintiff’s deposition notice served on third-party Samsara. Plaintiff seeks to depose Samara’s person most knowledgeable (“PMK”) to obtain information concerning the tractor trailer Dorman was driving at the time of the incident.
