Motion to be Relieved as Counsel
Having considered the moving and amended moving papers, the Court rules as follows. No opposing papers have been filed.
BACKGROUND
On March 26, 2019, Plaintiff State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint for subrogation against Defendant Justin Paul Tyler (“Defendant”) for an accident that occurred on March 25, 2018 between Plaintiff’s insured and Defendant.
On February 11, 2020, Defendant’s counsel, Douglas S. Yee, filed the instant motion to be relieved as counsel.
On March 16, 2020, the Court continued the hearing on the motion to be relieved as counsel to May 5, 2020.
On April 16, 2020, the Court continued the hearing on the motion to be relieved as counsel to July 16, 2020.
Trial is set for September 22, 2020.

Plaintiff’s counsel, Douglas S. Yee of Gilsleider, McMahon, Molinelli & Phan, seeks a court order relieving Douglas S. Yee as counsel for Defendant in this matter.
