Having considered the petitioning papers, the Court rules as follows. No opposing papers were filed.
BACKGROUND¿¿
On August 31, 2018, Plaintiffs Jasson Anderson Barrera Granados, Hellen Granados Alvarez and Edgar Johnny Urruta Granados (all by and through their guardian at litem, Berta Ramirez), and Berta Ramirez filed a complaint against Dignity Health dba California Hospital Medical Center, Doe Security Company, and Doe Security Guard. The complaint alleged wrongful death based on medical malpractice and negligence for decedent Delmy Granados’ death due to self-strangulation that occurred on September 4, 2017.
On May 2, 2019, Plaintiff Berta Ramirez filed three petitions to approve a compromise of pending action for Plaintiffs Jasson Anderson, Barrera Granados, Hellen Granados Alvarez and Edgary Johnny Urruta Granados.
On May 14, 2019, Petitioner filed a supplemental annuity quote for the petitions to approve a compromise of pending
