A. Statement of the Case

Petitioner Robinson commenced this proceeding on September 25, 2019, alleging a cause of action for traditional mandamus. The verified Petition alleges in pertinent part as follows.

At all times relevant, Robinson was a permanent, full-time employee of the City, working as a sworn peace officer with the Inglewood Police Department (“Department”).
