Background
On February 11, 2019, Plaintiff electronically filed her complaint. (Warren Decl.) However, the clerk rejected the electronic filing of her complaint because the “Civil Case Coversheet and Addendum and Statement of Location should be filed as ONE” and because the summons and the attachment of summons should be filed as one. (Warren Decl. Ex. A.) The clerk notified Plaintiff on February 13, 2019. (Ex. A., Warren Decl. ¶9.) Plaintiff then refiled the complaint on February 14, 2019.
On September 27, 2020, Plaintiff filed a motion for an order correcting the filing date of the complaint. On March 4, 2020, Defendant the Regents of the University of California filed an opposition.
