Background

Plaintiff Simon Hau Nguyen (“Plaintiff”) alleges that on or about March 1, 2017, Defendants Dung Hung Hguyen (“Dung”) and Trang Huyen Nguyen (“Trang”) borrowed $55,000.00 from Plaintiff. Plaintiff alleges that Dung and Trang agreed to repay the $55,000.00 to Plaintiff on April 1, 2017, plus an additional $5,000.00, for a total of $60,000.00. Plaintiff claims that Dung and Trang have failed to pay Plaintiff. On January 2, 2019, Plaintiff filed a complaint, asserting causes of action against Dung, Trang and Does 1-50 for:
