Motion for Relief from Government Claim Filing Requirements

BACKGROUND

On December 7, 2018, plaintiff Carlos Pacheco (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against defendants County of Los Angeles, City of Los Angeles, and City of Lomita alleging a dangerous condition on public property, premises liability, negligence, and negligent supervision, hiring, and retention. Plaintiff contends that on December 17, 2017, Plaintiff was riding his bicycle and sustained injuries from a dangerous roadway defect.

On March 12, 2019, defendant City of Lomita filed a cross-complaint against cross-defendant State of California.

Trial is set for June 5, 2020.
