[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: MOTION TO QUASH SERVICE OF SUMMONS

Defendants Hakem Yusef Hassan and Elite Roadside Assistance move to quash service of summons on the grounds that service was not proper. On June 7, 2019, George Sano served the summons and complaint on both Defendants via substituted service on Susan Elsharif, the co-occupant of 407 S. Nutwood St., Anaheim, CA 92804. Defendant Hassan contends he did not reside at 407 S. Nutwood Street. Defendant Elite Roadside Assistant contends Ms. Sharif was not an individual authorized to receive service under Code of Civil Procedure section 416.10(b).

A summons may be served on a corporation by delivering a copy of the summons and complaint: (1) to the person designated as agent for service of process (Code Civ. Proc., § 416.10, subd.
