Motions to Compel Responses to Form Interrogatories (Set One)
Having considered the moving papers, the Court rules as follows. No opposing papers were filed.
BACKGROUND
On October 17, 2018, Plaintiff Milcah M. Fountain (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against Defendants City of Los Angeles, Duc Lam, Hua Wu, and Lien Cam Lam. The complaint alleges negligence, premises liability, a dangerous condition of public property, and vicarious liability under Government Code section 815 for a trip-and-fall that occurred on October 20, 2017.
On February 15, 2019, the Court dismissed Defendant City of Los Angeles without prejudice.
On February 21, 2020, Plaintiff filed motions to compel verified responses without objections to Form Interrogatories (Set One) pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure section 2030.290.
On April 15, 2020, the Court continued the hearings on Plaintiff’s motions to compel to July 6, 2020.
A trial setting conference is set for August 3, 2020.
