Nature of Proceedings: Motion for Attorney’s Fees, et al.
On March 23, 2020, this court signed the judgment of $26,018.12 in favor of plaintiff/cross-defendant Carol A. Orton, Trustee of the Orton Revocable Trust, Dated June 25, 1990, and against defendants/cross-complainants Salvatore Cisaria, Wendy C. Stephen and Salvatore Expresso Systems, Inc. Plaintiff/cross-defendant prevailed on both the breach of contract and breach of the guaranty agreement (signed by Salvatore Cisaria and Wendy Stephen) in the operative complaint. Cross-complainants were awarded nothing on their cross-complaint, as the court concluded the written lease agreement was valid and enforceable, and the quiet enjoyment cause of action was, among other defects, not proven. All costs were awarded to plaintiff/cross-defendant as the prevailing party. Notice of entry of judgment was sent on March 30, 2020.
On April 1, 2020, plaintiff/cross-defendant filed a memorandum of costs (summary), asking for costs of $6,842,20
