ACCOUNT AND REPORT OF CONSERVATOR AND PETITION FOR ITS SETTLEMENT
AND FOR FEES
TENTATIVE RULING: The matter is continued to December 20, 2019, at 8:30 a.m. in Dept. B to allow the conservator to remedy the following issues:
(1) There is only one accounting presented following the death of the conservatee. Probate Code section 2620, subdivision (b), requires two accounting periods that are “separate” from each other: “The final court accounting of the guardian or conservator following the death of the ward or conservatee shall include a court accounting for the period that ended on the date of death and a separate accounting for the period subsequent to the date of death.” (2) The bill statements from Stayman Estates were not submitted. (Prob. Code, § 2620, subd. (c)(5).) The conservator shall submit the statements.
(3) The conservator shall explain the “Cash Out” amounts in Schedule C of “Estate of Frank S. Palagi” for $82,000 and $1,695.18.
