Plaintiff Poser Investments, Inc.’s motion for summary judgment is CONTINUED to June 22, 2017. CCP section 437c(h).

Defendant Veronica Hernandez, formerly in pro per, has substituted counsel to represent her in this case, as of January 20, 2017. In her opposition, Defendant requests a continuance in order to complete discovery. (Opposition, p. 4) The Court finds that Defendant's recently retained counsel should have an opportunity to marshal whatever evidence counsel deems appropriate in order to oppose this motion.

The Court notes that Defendant also requests an opportunity to serve amended responses to the previously served requests for admissions. As the Court has granted a motion to have those requests for admissions deemed admitted, Defendant's only recourse is to file a motion to set aside the admissions.

Additional filings in respect of the motion for summary judgment shall be filed and served in accordance with CCP requirements.
