RULING

For the reasons outlined below, the joint demurrer by the defendants to each cause of action is sustained, with leave to amend on or before October 10, 2017. The separate demurrer interposed by the individual defendant, Richard D. Scheinberg, M.D., to the first cause of action for wrongful termination in violation of public policy, and the fifth cause of action for violation of Labor Code § 1102.5, is overruled.
