This action arises out of a construction project involving twenty homes located in Santa Barbara. Plaintiff Bridgepoint Construction Services, Inc. (“Bridgepoint”) is a licensed building contractor and was hired by defendant Vista Oceano La Mesa Venture, LLC (“Vista Oceano”) to complete development of the project. On July 18, 2014, Bridgepoint filed its original complaint, asserting five causes of action against Vista Oceano seeking alleged unreimbursed expenses on the project. On October 22, 2014, Bridgepoint filed a first amended complaint.
