Nature of Proceedings: Petition for Probate Notice of the request for full authority under the Independent Administration of Estates Act was not properly provided. Neither the Notice of Petition to Administer Estate (paragraph 5) nor the published notice indicated that such power was sought. Consequently, it is recommended that the court grant the petition without such power, unless an acknowledgement and consent to the grant of such power from every person entitled to notice is submitted to the court. If consents are not filed, Petitioner may file a subsequent request for IAEA authority post-appointment in a separate petition with a new notice. (Prob. Code, § 10450.)
