The Hon. Thomas C. Falls is a judge for the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was elected to the Municipal Court in 1996 and was subsequently elevated to the Superior Court after the unification of the courts in 2000.
Judge Falls received his bachelor's degree from Western State University, Fullerton in 1984.
He went on to earn his J.D. from Western State University School of Law in 1985.
After graduating from law school, Falls joined the law firm of McAlpin, Doonan, and Seese where he practiced from 1986 to 1987.
Judge Falls joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in 1989 as a deputy district attorney. He served as a prosecutor for the D.A.'s office for seven years and was assigned to their Hardcore Gang Unit.
He remained with the D.A.'s office until winning the election to the Municipal Court in 1996.
During his time on the bench, Judge Falls served as a presiding judge for the East District.
In 2003 he was elected to serve on the Los Angeles Superior Court Executive Committee.
